Worth Protecting: A photo album by Better Path Coalition and FracTracker Alliance

The Better Path Coalition, a grassroots-led coalition charting a path towards a clean energy future in Pennsylvania, arrived in Harrisburg on Feb. 28 to deliver a book to the state’s new governor and every legislator. Titled Worth Protecting, the book features photos shared by residents around the state of the treasured communities, animals, plants, and ecosystems that they feel are worth protecting from the impacts of the climate crisis. FracTracker Alliance worked with the Better Path Coalition to create a digital version of that book. 

As Karen Elias, Better Path Coalition member and the book’s editor stated, “We are sharing these images with you now in hopes that you will be inspired by these heartfelt offerings to consider what’s precious in your own life, and to think about ways that you might work along with us to hold our government accountable.”
