Mississippi
Mississipi state law does require that chemicals used during hydraulic fracturing be disclosed to the state, but chemicals that operators consider trade secrets are allowed to be kept secret from the public. Mississippi does not currently track the proportion of wells in the state that use hydraulic fracturing.
