Oregon Oil & Gas Activity

We only have one map for oil and gas activity in Oregon.

There are 703 permits that have been issued in Oregon where latitude and longitude data are available from ODMLRR, the most recent of which was applied for on December 5, 2014. A random sample of this data shows that they are generally older wells that applied for permits before the mid 1980s. Many of these were never drilled, or have been permanently plugged.
